The filter disappears when you choose : " Move and stay here ". What a pity !

El Cid: Yes that will work and take you to the next game of whatever you are currently playing, but what Mel wants is to view the boat game as soon as she submits the move and if you want to view the game immediately you must select "Move and stay here" if you want a direct link

Marshmud: How about the option "go to the next game of this type" (or something like that) that appears on top of the board (with a direct link to the next game)

Mélusine: After you make a move on a boat game, and you want to see if you hit a target your move setting should be "Move " and "stay here" but after you view the board you still have to select another game from your game list, but my filter for this function works fine.

Bwild: Yes, it works but I said that I didn't do this because I wanted to stay on the same page so as to see the result of my move.

", I totally agree, because when I play games as Battleboats, I like to stay on the same game after doing my move so as to see if I've shooted a boat, and everytime, I have to refilter, and this irritates me !

I miss the Move and Goto Team Match, No Vacation and non-paying member as you say

MadMonkey: Decent idea, if the Move and Go To, aren't going to work again. (The ones that still aren't)
However, your idea would be even better, and a great compromise, IF the page would stay filtered until you tell it not to.
Right now, if you filter it to show all backgammon games, for example, if you make a move and come back to the main page, it is unfiltered, and you have to refilter it.

And even nicer if "Move and Go To Next game" took you to the next game from that filtered page. (Then no need to go back to main page)

Of course, the only one I'm really missing right now is Move and Go To Next game with non-paying member. Other than that I generally just go in order anyway.

If the 'Move and Goto' actions are still a problem i have another suggestion (as i do lol)

I have been using the 'Game Filter' on the main page, though it is not as useful as the 'Move and Goto' selections, to find all my Team Tournament games (by searching all Team Tournaments, and just selecting those game types to play first).

So, how about adding a third selection box to the filter ?

We have 'Opponent' & 'Game Type', so how about 'Group Selection' (first thing that came to mind lol) where there could be:

Non-paying member games
Team match games
No vacation games
Friend list games
Online opponents games
Offline opponents games
Stairs games
Fischer's Clock games

Those would be the Main ones i think, but you miss out on things like 'Similar type games' but that could be added, and if selected open and extra drop box to select All Lines games, All Chess games, All Checkers games etc.... and the same with Tournament selection.

Just another idea from my mad world

no, it will just count down to 0 minutes and then add another hour to timer. your vacation hours will start counting down because of this game since monday midnight.

My first to play game says I've 21 hours left, but tommorrow is one of my fixed weekend days. As it times out, would that cost vacation hours?

There is always something to learn.
If you want to build a multilayer system, never use Cherokee web server as a front gateway. Especially not on a 64 bit environment.

Of course the site will show up in Czech, so you would then have to click on the English flag over on the right side of the screen, and then click the confirmation button that you want to change languages.

Fencer: I am confirming that are a lot of us who are not able to use this site properly. As when we do tell you how slow the site is, others post saying everything is ok for them. Another site I use if they have problems they extend out membership.

crosseyed: It means that database server has been restarted and it usually takes a while. I don't see a point in commenting every unusual event that happens here, especially after I wrote about it in Server News.

I'd rather be a bit of a "know it all" and know some of the problems that come with that.

(V): DUH! brand new as in HD, MB and everything else....all the old stuff is on another HD, EXTERNAL.....know it all.

coan.net: Yes, I think that image loading could be the source of problems for some people. We will try to tune a couple of parameters and see if it helps.
