The MSO concentrates on the main varients of several classic games like Chess, Go, Backgammon, etc. They do offer Exchange Chess and then Chess at various time controls. There is also scope for getting together impromptu mini-tournaments while at the MSO. I've pesonally played in several such events (eg. Hexdame) in recent years. You could try and get a Dark Chess mini-tournament going, and if I'm available I'll definitely give it a go.
