So this really is a continuing of the theme I have been speaking on.... It is also a cause for poverty at home, because it diverts valuable resources & money that could otherwise be used to alleviate the poor here. Even many Iraq vets (not to mention Vietnam vets) live on our streets, with physical & other kinds of impairments, and our government brings them no relief. One cure for poverty, certainly, would be the elimination of wars of imperial conquest. |
