Emne: I'm sure this has been discussed in the past 5 years, but
would it be possible to rig the backgammon games so that the move kicks back to the player who has successfully blocked his box with the other player on the bar?
I don't see the point of the player on the bar needing to constantly click with no possible entry

Jim Dandy: You can use the version of "autopass" used here at brainking. You can turn this on in your settings.

Of course, for it to work, your opponent must have it turned on also.

Well, you would be overlooking many, many, many points, i can assure you

One reason someone might want to do this is to say "hello" or some other form of communication to their opponent.

Another is that in a cubed gammon game, they may wish to offer a double to their opponent.

A third reason is that their opponent may want them to.

Thats all i can think of right now, their may be more... oh yeah, Fencer wants you to as well

Puckish: You're right, other than the sense of power it affords, the ever present doubling option should always be the elephant in the room just waiting to get busy with it,so to speak

Andersp: I've enjoyed it a Gold token, that's what brought it to mind.
rod03801:I wonder why it would even be an option,I'm sure most players would be happy with it

MadMonkey: Is McTrivia's system workable with this site? or a proposed concept

Jim Dandy: my system is a working product and has currently made 45000 moves for people on this site. Backgamon is not played to often by it because I have yet to write code to check for more advanced automove siteuations. I solve the chat problem by never playing if the opponent writes a note.
