I have no statistics but the recent discourse on identity verification suggests that spurious memberships are created for other disruptive purposes.

By creating multiple IDs it is possible play them against one another, creating an artificially high rating for one of them. A guy on another site manufactured a 3500 chess rating this way.

How is it possible to Prevent Multi IDS Escpecially if someone is banned but just creates new ids and plays on I dont think there is a way to prevent Multi Ids or Is there?????????
