A scenario. The cube is '2' and is in possession of my opponent. I have the guy on the bar and am bearing my pieces off at a rapid rate of knots. A backgammon or gammon is obvious. The guy resigns. How many points do I get?

Hrqls: In that situation, as long as you can use both dice, you can choose which to use first.

A player must use both numbers of a roll if this is legally possible (or all four numbers of a double). When only one number can be played, the player must play that number. Or if either number can be played but not both, the player must play the larger one. When neither number can be used, the player loses his turn. In the case of doubles, when all four numbers cannot be played, the player must play as many numbers as he can.

Hrqls: There have been long conversations about ladders on Features and other boards.

Ladders will be implemented at a later date.

I think most players here follow normal backgammon rules and use both dice when possibvle - and the higher of the two dice if only one can be played.

One of my games was completed in 14 moves.
