Thats the reason a remove option was introduced in the first place. That way who ever is the tournament creator has the final choice anyway.

► ALL games for dummies (under 1500 & unrated) #2◄

Tournament will start in just a few days. For players rated BELOW 1500. Unrated players are also allowed as long as they are not "too" good.

Games need at least 4 players to start, and there are a few that still only have 2-3 players. So if you are looking for more games & you don't like to play against the "expert" players - here is the tournament for you!

To Sign Up: CLICK HERE

Thanks, and good luck to everyone who has signed up so far!

It is less work to screen coming in but thanks for the tip. There is also the issue of one of our ladies who is trying to avoid someone so we don't want his name to appear on our tournament list even for the short time it takes me to get there. I will change my post to read "almost" all are invited so everyone can have a comfort zone. Thanks for your interest and help.

So, if a pawn does not have enough room to start the 6 games for example, will the system start the games it can for the pawn? For example will it start 4 games and wait until he can play the other two?

Subject: pawn - tournament
The whole tournament would not start if for example:

Tournament has 4 players in it.

One of the players is a pawn and does not have enought room for the games (so pawn is removed)

Tournament only has 3 players left - not enough to run tournament, so tournament is actually canceled!

I'd like to point out that the Rest of the World section of 'Bumble's World Tour' - backgammon, is for players not included in the other categories (UK, Europe and USA).
Players from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America etc etc are especially welcome to join the fun in the Rest of the World section.

Subject: Gothic Chess King of the Hill
The strongest Gothic Chess tournament of all time is currently underway. All of the top 25 players on this site were invited, of which 16 accepted, and 1 was ineligible to play as a BrainPawn without enough vacancies.

Previously there were posts in this section from a certain player who indicated his own superior play as the reason for being barred from another event.

This player was given multiple invitations to the King of the Hill, none of which were accepted. The tournament is starting without him.

There is no need to reply to this post. It is provided here for informational purposes only.

A quick question on tournies.
When setting one up, does the BK site select randomly who will play in sections, or can the person setting it up, organise that fully too?

C'mon guys - I know it was my fault to assume 15 players to be
no problem of resembling, Chess-Variants do not hurt I tl ya ... :D

the tournaments below will stay yet open until sunday, but then
sadly I'll have to close them to avoid idle chaining of pawns ...

in that case the Janus Tourney will be restarted as soon as
Fencer's is finished - maybe two simultaneously are too much yet ...

Well not all the games are played yet, but enough are played to determin the winner of the Backgammon CHAMPIONSHIP Invitational (1-10) tournament - and the winner is: neznalek
