Subject: Reversi autopass request
I'm a new player here, but I really happy to find this site for online reversi play with tournaments and ELO-like ratings. And I have a suggestion how to make games faster and much more comfortable for all.

That would be great to have this feature in reversi game. I have a lot of situations when opponent just need to get into the game and pass his move 3-5 time in a row. And when he does it once in couple of days game becomes unreasonably long.

Most of the times such positions are at the end of the game and I believe this would be a good way to skip additional waitings for opponent turn.
In any case he is able to view turns history to know what has been done during autopasses.

I would really appreciate your help! Thanks in advance.

Subject: Earning Achievements
This is a feature request regarding earning achievements, that I know has been brought up before, but I don't believe there has been any response.

It would be nice to be able to view a table so you know which games or tournaments you are lacking in order to earn an achievement. Example # 1: "10 won tournaments of 50 game types" -- As this applies to public tournaments only, it would be nice to see which of my 35 game types that I have already met this. It is nearly impossible for me to tell simply by looking at my finished games page, as I have many fellowship tournaments mixed in with this.

Example # 2: "10 won games of 50 game types" - It shows I have 39. I would like to know which 39 game types have already satisfied this. In looking at my finished games, I have 65 game types that have appeared to satisfy this, but I do not know which 39 of these 65 have truly satisfied the requirement. If I knew, then I could focus on playing games of the other types in order to reach 50. Going along with this, it would be nice to know how many games within each game type have satisfied this requirement... i.e. 9 won games of Frog Finder, so I would know I need to win one more game against a unique opponent.

There are many such examples in these achievements, but I have only listed the 2 above.

Thanks!

I create many Tournaments that i have created in the past (and i am sure many of us do).

I know we can create Templates, and then edit information that needs changing each time, but i had a GREAT (well i think so) thought

e.g. My Random 'Lines' Games Elimination Tournament finishes ( here Random 'LINES' Elimination )

On that page how about a button that just says RE-CREATE !!

Just click that, and it would open up a set up image of that Tournament.

The only thing that would have to change would be the date (but the option to edit, add or remove would be there), then it is done

I know it would certainly save a few of us time

Subject: making idle stairs glow
that's a figure of speech, but what i mean is that i'd like for finished Stairs matches to be made to stand out somehow...the results notices flagged in some way in the Events box, maybe?...so that when a stairs match ends i'll know to go to those stairs and start another match. the red text in the stairs' game lists that shows me which stairs i'm enrolled in is great, and that's the kind of thing i'm talking about; but what i'd like is some way of easily seeing which stairs games i'm signed up for but not currently playing in, so i can go straight to them and start a new match without having to periodically look through all the stairs i'm playing to make sure none of them is lying idle without my knowledge.

thanks!

KJ: Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but in the message you get, when you win/lose (now in the "Events" box), there is still an offer to invite to a new game. It is all the way at the bottom of the message.

(Though, perhaps not, if it is a person who has invitations turned off, that I'm not sure of)

Hi all,
I'd like to see official Brainking Tournaments, perhaps quarterly, that would include all games at the site.  There could also be one tournament of each general type.  (i.e. one elimination, one where players all play one game with other players and one where players play two games with every other player. There might also be fast tournaments without vacation or only weekends and slow tournaments which allow vacations so players of all time preferences would be able to find tournaments to their liking.
The players' main pages could show icons (gold, silver and bronze) for official Brainking tournaments next to specific games.  Achievements could be tied to winning these tournaments.
Ideas?
Talen

nodnarbo: Lets use an example: 10 people vote on a poll - 3 different options:

Option #1 - 8 of the 10 people vote for this one (so 80% of voters picked this one)
Option #2 - 5 of the 10 people vote for this one (so 50% of voters picked this one)
Option #3 - 7 of the 10 people vote for this one (so 70% of voters picked this one)

Once I pictured that example, it was more clear to me what you were talking about (hopefully help others & Fencer if he decides to add something like this.)

nodnarbo: It took me reading your message a few time to understand what you are saying, and now I do - AND AGREE.... maybe a link to toggle back and forth between the current way and the way you propose to take the percentage from the number of voters (and not number of votes).

I would also like to see Opinion Polls be sortable so the top vote winner will be sortable - so when there are polls with 20+ options, it will be easier to see the top voted option.

Subject: Opinion Polls
For checkbox opinion polls where you can choose more than one option I feel like it would be more helpful for the percent listed after the option to be the percent of voters that voted for that option than it is to have the percent of the total votes it got. With polls with 20+ options you could easily have an option that only got 15% of the total votes, but had 80+% of the voters vote for that option. It wouldn't change how the votes are counted, it would just make the popular options stand out more.

Hi all,
I would like to see greater ability to filter tournament searches.
Examples include:
Search for tournaments that need just one more player.
Allow players to filter out tournaments for games that are not of interest. (Allow the list of tournament games to show only the games desired by the player.)
Filter out tournaments that have undesired time limits.
Highlight the names of players that a member has no wins against to help in going after some of the achievements.  Or allow a search for tournaments that include players that a member has not faced.
