... it's like Maharajah Chess when you are white - I mean you KNOW which piece you are going to move, yet you have to go through an extra move to click on that piece to indecate that you are going to be moving it.

(wouldn't it be more easy - and less page hits for the server - if the white pieces was automaticly "highlighted" and ready to move)

are there still suckers to play white for maharajah? I would have thought that by now everyone is aware that white always loses this game - I guess that's why he's represented as a pigeon :)

I agree, this game is not balanced!
But if you play it with the regular chesset and with a maharajah instead of a queen it can be interesting.

The only trouble with having white pre-selected is that you'd miss the 'what move your opponent made last' bit. Maybe you wouldn't miss it, but I would.

As for white always losing.. Bzzzzzzzzt. Wrong. I've won more times as white than as black. :P~~

Ha, I've lost loads of times as black too! Theres been some discussion about it on the maharajah chess DB, if you have a look there... :o)
