It comes down to how you interprit how the rules are worded really. I would say both answers are correct, it was Nirvanas move, but as she could not go Furbster still had a LEGAL move.

I didn't get the chance to pass it back to Furbster, the system was what declared it a draw. It was also the system which put me in the next round, and I really do think the game should have gone to Furbster.

MadMonkey: No, I don't think this is a matter of interpretation. Let's quote the rules literally again:

How to finish the game

The game ends if one player cannot make a legal move.

In this game it was Nirvana's turn. She couldn't make a legal move. So ONE PLAYER could not make a legal move, and the game is over. There is no rule about "passing" a move. If it would be possible, the game would never be over until all the board was populated - as long as there is only one free square, there is always one legal move to be made. So in this case the rules would say:

How to finish the game

The game ends when all the board is covered.

Mr. Shumway: I agree with what you say, we have to play by what the rules are here on Brainking. The thing is depending where you have played it, as i have before the Rules are different.
Just an example from Gamerz.net:

'If you are unable to move on your turn, you are skipped. There is a chance that your opponent may be forced to make a move that will let you move again'

This is why its hard to implement games, you could play a game somewhere else and swear your rules are correct, when they only are for that site.
