In due time everything will be fixed, and I commend you BUT, before more bells and whisles are added to this site's CHEATING HAS TO STOp AND NOW!! Related to my last question about the 'go to next' option.... I know BK 2 will be different, but if a game is at the top of my list, and I hit the play later opton, that game should not continue to come to the top of my list...I may want to play all of my games except a few, which I need more time on. As it works now, I have to skip over those games after every move, to get to a game I want to play...
Play later should mean just that, later, not right after my next move....

Just a thought :)

I do not need all the links on the left hand side and all i want on the right hand side are the "favourite Boards"

I dont know how the "international" ISP's work but I have a monthly download of 500Megs...since I have been playing seriously on BK i have exceeded this by about $20 per month. that is a charge of .17c per meg (i think)...so confusing

IOW, as it was told to me a while back, first up is 'the one in which it has been your turn the longest'.

But if you're getting a game popping in ahead of the others, then I don't see how this is possible. :/

Their listed in the order of "Go to next game" - sorted by your opponent's last move (the game in which your opponent moved the longest time ago will appear at the top).

Does anyone know... When you use the 'move and go to' link when playing a game, how is the order of the games listed determined?

It seems the same game keeps returning to the top of the list, and I constantly have to skip it over it. They are not listed in the same order as they are on my main page. The only thing I can think of is the y are listed by the start date of the game?

I like the idea of putting the number of fellowship messages on the fellowship public boards down next to the fellowship names in the fellowship section, IF:

You can click the little red number and go to the board, BUT clicking the name will still send you to the main fellowship page. :)

Bernice, If you mean you want to play the games that are closesst to timing out, Click on "Time Left" column, and your main page will then be arranged according to the games that have the least time left. Clicking on any of the column headings there changes the way your games are listed.
If this isn't what you meant, I'm sorry.

is there any way that i can arrange my games on my main game pages in order of HAVING NEED TO BE PLAYED...
playing the most urgent and able to leave the longer movers for later.....it isnt that i would want to hold anybody up but it really annoys me to have to look thru ALL games to find which need to be played first????????

Yup, Like rose says - just do it from your Message box.

... I do that all the time when i want to send messages to BIG BAD WOLF (yes, send messages to myself so I can keep important information / notes about stuff!) :-)

If you go to message box click send message, and if the person is on your friends list you can send a message that way pretty fast, if they arent in your friends list just type their name is and the database finds it for you

but it would be nice to be able to send a message to someone without having to go to their profile page...something like "msg" next to their name...the profile pages take so long to load.

I second that idea. It sure would make our main page less cluttered looking and faster access to those boards we want to get to the quickest.

Here is what I would like to see when if comes to fellowships & Favourite boards.

In the FELLOWSHIP list (which is below the Favourite boards list on my screen), I would love to see the (X new) message next to there when there are new messages in the fellowship. (And if you click on the (X new) directly, it will take you to the board to read.)

Why would this be good:
1) You don't have to have every fellowship that you belong to also on the favourite boards list - basicly listing all my fellowships I belong to twice. (the fellowship in the fellowship list, and the fellowship board in the favourite boards list)
2) Many times, users forget to add the boards to their favourite list - this way they don't have too, they will hopefully see the (X new) message and come see what has been posted.
3) It would then (for me at least) allow me to remove all the fellowship boards from my favourite list, allowing only "system" boards to be there - which would help seperate "System" boards and "fellowship" boards.

Exactly the problem, and as most of the time you are in games or maybe reading another board the bottom ones do get missed.
Maybe (looking at Fencer LOL), if a new message is placed on one of your favourite boards it automaticaly goes to the to top of your list :o)
(apart from your own BB fellowships, which should always stay there).

That is my problem LOL, or maybe its cos i have so many favs LOL currently about 30 and the ones at the bottom do get missed from time to time LOL

Now you got me thinking Aragon (and its early) lol, they should be grouped somehow.
Maybe public & fellowship, and then sorted into preference.
Personally, i think every BB should have there fellowships at the top of there list. There are some fellowships that i am in where i have there board on my favourites list, but if they are at or near the bottom, sometimes i dont even notice a post there.

Perhaps in a persons settings that can set their 10 most fav or something so that thier Fav boards are sorted the way they want it?

Personally, I will add new sorting rules, based on something else than a fellowship name.

A few 'big bosses' have invented their own new game for Brainking - 'Who can get their fellowship to the top of the 'Fellowships' and 'Favourite Boards' coloumns' (at the bottom of each of your pages).
They do this by adding punctuation marks before their fellowship name.
Personally, I wish they wouldn't bother.

Where some of the boards removed or have they just been renamed? It just seems to me that some of them are gone.

I know in Internet Explorer, the font size on a webpage will change if you hold down CTRL and use the scrool wheel on a mouse.

Since I do a lot of CTRL-C, CTRL-P (Copy/Paste) - I accedently change the font size on webpages every once and awhile.
