You can set parameters and search for a certain type of tournament. When you find one, look at the number of games. If it is single elimination, you need 1. In a 16 player field 1 plays 9, 2 plays 10 and so on. After the first round I don't know how they pair so you would have to ask Fencer. But I would prefer 1-16, 2-15 over the system we use now. 29.
