I just wanted to say that it seems somebody has been sending messages posing as me or at least on my behalf. I got a message from Nirvana yesterday that was apparently a reply to a message that I had sent to her or to one of her fellowships. It's been a little frustrating because she was offline when I received the message and has been offline since, so I haven't been able to clarify where the message came from exactly. I hope that my account has not been hacked. The message seemed to have cut and pasted portions of an actual message that I sent a couple of weeks ago to my fellowship members, but mostly stuff added that has nothing to do with me. Someone seems to be posing as me for a joke. I just wanted to put this on the main brainking board in case other people have been receiving such messages. Please let me know if you have.

Why does every click on the BK site - this evening, anyway - finish seemingly correctly, but continue to load (chrome or firefox) while displaying "waiting for google-analytics.com"? Why is BK dependent on this third party site?

How Do I withdraw from a tournament? I want to withdraw from future rounds of a tournament I'm in because a player is taking way too long on his moves and it will be months before the next round starts. I want to join a different tournament but do not have the membership to have 2 simultaneously.

When you set up a knockout tournament with brain prizes, you are asked to select a prize distribution for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Now the winner will be first, the losing finalist second, but who is third? next you have two losing semifinalists. How does that work?

And it might not have been the same day he sent the email telling me about it. I'll ask him what date he registered. Thanks again for looking into this... By the way, my son's email is a .navy.mil and not a .com address, so I was wondering if the problem had anything to do with acknowledging his email account. If not, then is there something he can do from his end to speed up the approval process? He said everything went fine with the sign up, and has been waiting to get approved.

My son started an account here on May 25th, but is still not a registered player and can't get on to play games. He is in the Navy and presently overseas, so his email is piped in and out from the ship he is on. He has no problem communicating with me or other relatives, so I'm wondering if the problem getting on here has anything to do with his email account?

ScarletRose: i never have problems using Chrome. i never get white pages or have problems here or at any site since switching from firefox.

Sir_Zane: Try no fonts? It sounds like you've gotta little cold on your computer though.

I use firefox and don't have any problem like this. Nevertheless I agree that he should try changing browsers to see if it is a firefox problem with this site, or if all browsers he tries he still has the problem. Either way though he will learn something I suppose. I also suggest going through the usual laundry list of things to do, like cleaning his cache, rebooting his computer, doing a quick virus scan, and when he has time he should do a full virus scan (which should be a daily thing anyway regardless).

Every now and then I get the "slow loading page" problem at the same time that others get it. Changing browsers etc. doesn't help that problem though.
