El Cid: I also agree with you! There are many games I have never played let alone heard of before and it is frustrating to try to read the rules only to be told it is a variation and when you go to the original, it doesn't always help either. I guess you need to play the originals first but you don't figure that out until you have already joined a game that you have no idea about anyway! :-((
