Teema: Re: OMG
Foxy Lady: r u joking?ants are cool, but they usually are not a big problem in the garden.do more good than harm.but if you really want to discourage them rather than murdererered them:

Turn ants away from your home by locating the place of entry and squeezing a lemon onto it. Then leave the peel. Ants will also retreat from lines of talcum powder, chalk, damp coffee grounds, bone meal, charcoal dust and cayenne pepper.

Teema: back to the subject
has anyone ever had fresh lychee nuts?:
http://www.lycheesonline.com/origin.cfm

if you are familiar with them,do you know their are many varieties:
http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/lychee.html#Varieties
this one is great:
'Kwai mi' or 'Kuei Wei', (cinnamon flavor) which came to be called 'Mauritius' is smaller, heart-shaped, with rough red skin tinged with green on the shoulders and usually having a thin line running around the fruit. The seed is small and the flesh very sweet and fragrant. The branches of the tree curve upward at the tips and the leaflets curl inward from the midrib.
