Open Invite: Top 10% Faster Backgammoners for 2009-03

Hi, to 'The Best and The Fast Backgammon Players',

This is an opportunity, check your weight against to other best players if you inside the top 10% any of Backgammon Games.

Don't be afraid of endless games and tournaments! If you don't like to join to the Gammon Tournaments without end (related with the move time of the opponents), our games finish before the next month tournament generally.

We choosed publicly announce this Traditional but popular Tournaments here, in the tournaments discussion and some fellowship groups to all the best and fast players who are inside the top 10% of any type Backgammon Games.

Inside the top 10% any type Backgammon player (Back, Nack, Crowded, Race, Hyper, Anti, Cloning Backgammon, Grasshopper, Plakoto, Fevga), is eligible to join to all other games in this Tournaments before the begin time. March 20th, 2009).

Others, outside of top 10% players, will be deleted before the tournaments begin without excuse...

Match type: 3 points match with doubling cube
Tournament type: one match for each two players
Maximum number of players per section: 20
Final match type for two players section: 5 points match with doubling cube
Time control: Time: 3 days, Bonus: 3 hours, Limit: 9 days, no days off (red signed)

(That means after beginning you have 3 days (72 hours) for your first move. Per your another move, you'll have 3 hours bonus for your other move time. 9 days is limit time for the opponents, after the move of other side.)

FrancescoLR: I no the time you have to spend because i had to do the same & that is just on smaller tournament's..lol I have heard of a black book before,,,,,but black list is a new one on me,,,,so i am going to add that in my book GOOD Luck my friend because you well desire it for running tournament that size.

Dolittle: I know you are most sociable , you are already a black Rook anyway. Still u could always win it for me lol

MadMonkey: I understand that completely monkeyman and I have left those inactive fellowships. I see no point in joining if you are not going to participate. Another thing I don't care for on those is that they are random games. I only join ones that I know the game I will be playing as I don't know how to play a lot of the games, i,e, chess for one and there are many versions of that. Sorry if I seem antisocial or something....I am not!!

I´ve been looking into the fellowships, but they were not for me. One like line games, which I don't. The 2:nd one got globe images spinning around (disturbs my eyes) and the third one is a bit scary
;-) so I'll have to find some other tournament to join instead

Dolittle: True littleone, but then as lots of people join Fellowships and never take an active role in them i would say it was worth the joining

"GERRY": Of course he has a choice. As it is by invite only it does not have to be in a Fellowship. He invites who ever he wishes to play

Dolittle: I don't think he has any other choice other than do it that way because of all the unwanted players.They can flood your tournament & other way's.It is alot of work removing player's from a tournament's one by one.:))

FrancescoLR: What a shame that such a nice prize tournament has the restriction that you have to join a fellowship in order to play. Sorry but I guess I will miss out on it.

Snoopy was just pointing out that what Marshmud was saying, is that there are many Members here who provide prizes for tournaments in Fellowships but do not go about the site telling everyone.

The same as there are many here who pay for others memberships etc... some people just like to do it privately.

there are at least 5 private fellowships (properly more) that run regular prize tournaments

but many of us dont broadcast it on public boards

There is only 2 of us supporting this site by holding Prize Tournaments.Other then Memberships

My BRAINS PRIZE TOURNAMENT is Running I went threw it making BKR within a close range I maybe missed a few.If you got removed it was because of your BKR some games where not filled but to my delight where deleted.

It seems i have a player that got a game while it was in the red going threw the data system I never checked out that game that came to me later oh well fun & games HEY:)))

"GERRY": Of course you have to remove them one by one. But there IS a way to "completely ban unwanted players from your tournaments". THAT's what you asked. Just go to the tournament and remove those who you don't want to participate. After that, they won't be allowed to sign (maybe they will sigh) up again.
