Marfitalu: He has gone through just about every version from mandrake, suse, mandriva, debian etc.. he keeps trying different distributions.. No luck.. He can get every other site he goes to to work, But since the latest down time we had a few weeks ago, he cannot get in here.. He was in for about an hour the other day. Went to get back in next day an nothing.
His browsers are firefox and the mozilla's

So Marfitalu, you are using Linux now and have no problem at all with accessing the site?

Anyone know of any free online software to take a movie clip off a DVD and make it in to an MPeg?

A few weeks ago I couldnt use rich text editor until I upgrade to Firefox 2.0. I upgraded, got my rich text editor back. NOW today it is gone again. If I switch to plain text editor I can write but the smiley link is no longer active (Yes I double checked and I have the check box marked to see smilies)
I'm at a loss here. Would it be something in the latest Windows update that might have messed up my java stuff again? Any help would be appreciate. I love Rich text editor!!

Suspected Web Forgery.

I opened up a page that I knew was a forgery (Curiously wanted to see what it looked it). That usual email from "paypal" telling me my account was out of date and needed to be updated pronto.
Big read sign popped up letting me know the page was a suspected web forgery. Very kool!

Ok It isn't a full requirment to be on that long. We are looking for a co-mod to help moderate this board. I am on nearly every day from 8AM to 7 or 8 PM AST (The benefits of working from home and being your own boss is you can have BK open all day)
Anyone who is really in to computers and would like to help Co mod this board give us a shout.

Andersp: I created a site at Geocities back before Yahoo owned them (1996). After a crash one time I lost my password to my geocities account. I can't get back in. i emailed them 4 times and never got a reply. SO my very first site I made in 1996 still sits, unedited and I cant access it. How frusterating. They are full of FAQ's but they will not reply to your email queries.

anastasia: 3GB means they are providing you with 3 gigabites of free space (3000 Megabites {MB}). That only means they don't want you going over your limit. Once your website is created you can get a close idea on how large your website is if you right click on the website folder on your harddrive (Providing all your website files are in one folder) So you right click and go to Properties and it will tell you size. 3GB is pretty big for a website so the only way you would likely use up that much space is if you put on a lot really huge file sized images with out reducing their size (like what I did with your doggy pic - it was 3MB when you sent it to me and I made it 12kb)

harley: Yes that is about what I would say too. If your harddrive is full or nearly full it can stop the system from working properly. Check to see if it is full
Double click the my computer icon, right click on your C drive and go to Properties. See if you have much disc space left.

Pythagoras has a point that pirating is very illegal so hopefully we can end the discussion on piracy and what 'free' programs to get or at least take them to private conversations?

Greatly appreciated!

Try Ctrl + F5. When my emoticons stick and don't move I just ctrl+ F5 and it makes em work again.. Can't hurt to try..
* Or is it Ctrl+ shift F5.. hmmm..
Pretty sure it is Ctrl+F5

Emne: Re: usb hub (4 ports)
Hrqls: is the USB hub powered? (an adapter that plugs in to the wall and in to the USB hub)
If not the most likely cause could be that the USB port on the tower is either not powered or has insufficient power to run more than one item. IE the hub and then anything else, that frequently happens on boot up.
win 98SE alot of times does not work well leap frogging USB devices.
If the USB hub IS powered then it could be the way windows boots and it wont recognize past the hub, until the machine is completely booted. But by that time it is no longer looking for a mouse.

Hope this helps.

But still waiting on nobleheart to reply and let me know where this website is that allows you to edit and create PDFs.. Would really like to take a look at it.
