Since a legal thing is a legal thing and i am as pedantic as it goes, i call it fair!
Clever way of winning, yet i would not put him on my friends or approve his behaviour.....
I could call him a moron but i won't, since the moderators silently spy everything from above
He thinks he does something clever and he admires himself believeing that he is a superior brain that is fooling everyone, but the only thing he does is to spend his time on stupid things while he isn't realising that his time is coming to an end. The day that he will realise this, would be too late.....
On the other hand he may be an 80 years old man, that did everything in his life and wants to try something new!

Pythagoras: We discussed him on the backgammon board, too (Top 9 messages from the link). Some of his opponents don't realise the implications of the 11-hour-zero-bonus clock that he uses. Others think he's using that clock because he wants a fast game but discover that he stalls until they cannot stay at their computer. Then he moves and their clock runs out while they're asleep or at work. Strictly speaking it's legal but I consider him a cheat.

I've seen the statistics of robtoo for Battleboats and he has 87 wins and 2 loses.

That can't be real since battleboats is a game of mainly luck! But i've discovered the reason. From his 87 wins the 79 were wins by time out of the opponent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i wonder what kind of voodoo makes to his opponents and they run out of time?

Just kidding about the voodoo-part but i still wonder......

BIG BAD WOLF: Thanks guys.. just finished it and finished updating PayPal..

I also noticed.. I wasn't credited for brains from a purchase of a friends membership back in Feb 05.. I noticed this when I was reviewing my account at Paypal and the Brains I have currently.. the dates don't match up.. months off actually.. I also should get the brains from this purchase as well.. I put this to note on the shopping basket section for notes.. Does this not get to whomever is assigned the deed of crediting brains?? LOL

I am LOL cause on one of the note sections I mentioned to please send my brains to my account! LOL Sounds funny unless you play at BK..

Plus during the PayPal process, there are places for "notes" - you can repeat what you want there just to make sure - since they will see the notes along with the payment.

Okay.. I wish to get my mom a membership.. I noticed on the Paid Membership Link in the row of my membership it has an option to "change" and allows me to actually search for a user and replace my name with that ID.. now.. I wanna make sure if I do this my membership doesn't just transfer over to her.. but, it would allow me to go in and buy a membership.. for her..

Hopefully this isn't too confusing.. whichever way is easiest please let me know..

Emne: Re: Playing rate stats
SMIRF Engine: I'd like more information about a player's rate of playing too. The number of moves per game per day would be useful. I'd even like there to be a new stats table listing people by this value. We have the most number of moves per day so why not a speed of playing table? Ideally different figures would be available for each game type, or perhaps variant, but even just the single all-encompassing figure would be most useful.

I wonder if somebody can help me, i am currently in a "5 wins match" and have won the last 4 matches. My opponent seems to move once a week, which is getting on my nerves to be honest. The 5th game has started but no moves have been taken as yet, if i were to resign from the 5th game, would that mean that i lose the actually match all together???

emmett: It can't be said often enough. Knights who only play a subset of the games (eg. the gammons or in your case, chess) get a raw deal regarding touernaments. There should be a set number of tournamants, not one per game type.

part edited as it continued a misunderstanding :)

each tournament states the time a move can take ... consider that when you join a tournament

(i wont play any tournaments with 1 day per move .. i rarely play a tournament without free days or fixed weekends only .. i sometimes play tournament with 3 days per move .. i like the longer tournaments ... although those can finish quite fast as well ... of course all this depends on the game type as well :)

Emne: Re: complainers about this great site
emmett: I have had similar problems within a tournament. It would be helpful if the system would supply us with an average answering time for each player and game variant, and thus also would enable filtering such very slow players from tournaments.
