This site has been down for me since 10 am est yesterday you could log in but could not play just big white screens

MadMonkey: hate to rain on your parade there boasting about the up time of the site. But uptime is meaningless if you cannot move because all you get is waiting for page to load, and big white screens because you cannot move

Hrqls: thanks everyone for all your suggestions I have tried them all and still no luck, no smileys for me :( also just noticed that I no longer have the rich text editor for the message box)

Can someone help me my smileys haven't worked since last Thursday, when I click on them just a blank box opens up, I am using IE7,

Snoopy: they have stopped working for me too since yesterday, when you click on smiles I just get a blank white box

Czuch: well I tried and still couldn't clicked on the link activated the account and it tells me I cannot post, guess you aren't allowed to discuss this problem anywhere now

coan.net: hate to be complaining here as it just causes problems, which is why I rarely post anything anywhere.on this site anymore, I am computer smart, and have a problem with that answer, I play on several game sites in several different countries, I play on 3 computers all with different isp's all are top of the line computers,non are infect with spyware. The reason I don't buy that answer anymore then that it is the users problem and not the site problem is this. We are all playing from several different countries, on several different servers, all don't have the problem anywhere else on the internet except with this site, I play roughly the same type of game sites, and this one at one time was the best you could play at, but it isn't anymore.

Rose: well put Rose I agree with you 100% was going to post to Jim's message, when I saw it, but figured there is no point, its been worse for me this week too, although I do think for the majority of us at least the people who I play and speak with most are just tired of repeating the same old problem, getting the same old response, and then getting one of the few who it works good for to point us to the all entry where it is all our fault not this site, as for the lighter version I tried it, the improvement was so small so I switched back to what I previously had. Many people that I play say they are just decreasing their games and becoming pawns they are just so fed up with the whole situation.

Andersp: she will be missed so will all the others that have recently left. Of course with the problems here at the moment (dare I say the lack of speed and ability to be able to even play games) you cannot expect paying members to stay

Binabik: I agree, I found since christmas that this site has been painful to attempt to play on it. It takes forever to make a move, it has become a chore for me more then a fun place to come and play. I know we aren't supposed to complain about the speed, but I agree maybe alot of these extras we seem to be getting are really not need, after all its supposed to be a game site, hopefully the speed improves in 2008

brainking,com isn't any better just took me 10 minutes to make a move have done it 3 times hit sumbit and site goes down, certainly frustrating this morning

I agree this is supposed to be a game site simple as that, and the speed to play games on this site is just awful lately, I usually just give up now, and all other sites work super fast so its not my connection or my computer

Is anyone else find this site extremely slow, I can sleep between moves, and its not happening on any other game sites I play on, other then this one, it kind of takes the fun out of playing the games at this speed

I have accidently changed the language on my screen, now of course, I cannot figure out how to get it back to english

Rose: I have the same problem will not let me play several different types of games, and will not let me send a message to my opponent or to Filip, noticed other people have reported the same problem on the bug tracker

Rose: I agree I hope the time resumes soon, people seem to quit playing when time is suspended, the problem with the big negatives seems to be gone, so hopefully time resumes soon

that would be fine if the person who was abusing the system had only 1 or 2 games against you, but when it is alot its annoying, of course they will eventually run out of auto vacation time and time out,

thanks to everyone for the thoughts on the auto vacation, I think it is a great idea, and tend to agree that perhaps only a certain number of auto vacations should be able to be used per game, of course those that abuse the system in the new year will quickly run out of days, and will time out

is there anything that can be done by those that are abusing the system, with auto vacation, I have a player whose games keep adding 24 hrs they never play the games will the auto vacation run out at the end of the year, it certainly slows the process of the games

does anyone know when the suspended game time will end

why do you need to know what they are doing, if they aren't playing your games what concern is it to you, I just think that it is a big drain on the server, friends on line shows you if they are on the site if you want to chat with them send them a message

I agree ellieoop I don't really care who other people are playing or what they are doing, that is a feature I think should be disabled
