Is that why I have a red "Game time suspended" on my main page and there's more time added to my games? :)

Emne: Suspended time
I've disabled timeouts until the new timeout system is lauched. The current one is a little, uh, buggy and although it affected only a few players, it would be better to avoid more wrong timeouts in advance.

pauloaguia: Several checkers players asked me for this option. When it's set, you'll see white pieces as black ones and vice versa.

Emne: OOPS, The settings are now all white backgrounds no matter what you choose.
I'm happy with black lettering showing up on a white background.....my eyes are at rest finally!

keeshound, its usully the simple things we miss. It may sound like a silly question, but after you click to change white/dark background, did you click on 'save and finish'?

28. September 2004, 22:05:35
bwildman
LOL:) we all sat in them at one time ;-)

28. September 2004, 22:05:30

Emne: Now that's a real good way to get a pawn, once paying member to again sign up!
I just went to my settings and it doesn't make any difference as to if I click on light/white or dark.......they both show up the same!

Emne: Re: OK FENCER.....I'm Going Color blind!
they reversed the color scheme...now Fencer has fixed it...so may need to change it back.I think it must be an issue for pawns.

Emne: Re: I Did Check My Settings
From the time I registered on this site the setting was always set to a light/white ground. What the heck has happened since is beyond me. I finally had to re-set to a dark background just to be able to read without extra-special, night-vision glasses! Something is wrong somewhere and I never changed a thing until last night when all the other members suggestions came in.

Yes, that's nice :-) But we need hardware first.

while you're looking at new servers, i might suggest you look at Mac OS X Server, if brainking could be run on it (i don't know if it could). i only think of it because it can do cool, staff-reducing things like page an admin if it goes down and stuff like that. i don't know if you'd want that, but if it sounds appealing, it does exist...

and if i come into any money soon (which it's possible that i may, a little) i'll send some your way. :)

28. September 2004, 07:53:33
Fencer
Yes, and some other sites we host. They run, unlike BrainKing, on Apache web server.
