Chessmaster2000: After a round is finished, everyone can see how many points each player used, who was kicked out etc. It would be no fun if you could see only your own score.
Of course noone will know what the player has played, right? He would just choose a number in each round........! I assume that no 7 days per move would happen as then the play will be slow, a 2 days per move is ideal for me. But it's your choice..........
No the rules are clear! I don't really know why you don't understand it...........??? I have just read it for the first time and i found it fun and easy to play...........
Just one comment. There is a rule that says: 4) If a player have no points left, he must make the next move with 0 points and it is very unlikely he will stay on the pondside. How such a player stay in the game? I see the probability for that = 0. So (s)he would never stay in the game so what's the purpose of participating in the next move with 0 points?
Please explain where i am wrong......?
we need to know the minds of our fellow players .. will they gamble high or low ...
of course everyone could put in everything minus 2 in the first round .. so you could be the lonely winner if you put in everything minus 1 .. but thats a low chance :)
hmm change the bkr on every round gained instead of at the end of the complete game :)
Emne: :o( I renewed around a week ago and missed out

1) Christmas Special! Everybody who pays for any kind of membership (or extends the current one) and makes it to the end of this year (2004), will automatically get one FREE month of the same membership as a Christmas present.
2) And for the doubtful ones, there is one temptation - BrainKing brings the first multiplayer game which is accessible for paying members only. The number of participants is unlimited and the name is Run round the Pond.

You've got to hand it to harley, she likes to confuse people by starting at the beginning and finishing at the end. It baffles me every time. Mae'n wych. :)
In the Interview with BIG BAD WOLF I noticed the discussion read like a book with the oldest on the top and I could read it down to the end at the bottom. Refreshing!
for all ur help on me getting my membership renewed for another year. Here I thought it was going to be hard to do. Guess it was just me that made it hard. Again TYVM for all ur help.

Nuno: yes, paying members do have the option to set autovacation on which means that, when they timeout, the time will be extended for another day in exchange for a vacation day (if it's a rook, then they have 30 vacation days to use).
Fencer: Don't worry - Opera doesn't reload the pages when I use the back button ;)
No Bry, I just bought meself rook membership to add on to the few days left there were of knight membership. I don't know if it's all Rook now, or I might have some knight days sitting at the end.
tonyh: Nothing unless you go back to a page which is no longer valid. For example, a game page containing an old position. Firefox handles this situation by a forced reload but it doesn't work with IE.
