That would be no problem. Written down :-)

Okeydokey, added to TODO list :-)

Thanks to everyone :-)
About flipping the board, it is not supported yet. I'll add this feature later. But if you play backgammon in real, the players sit at the opposite side of the table, don't they? So one of them can see the bearing off on the left and the opponent on the right. Or am I not right?

Fixed. But, please, do not try to play Jungle, it is not finished yet :-)) I;ve just had to make a quick fix.

It will be fixed ASAP. I know about the problem. Damn, these big updates are always risky. Please be patient and I apologize :-)

Oh, sure :-) Sorry, I'm a little tired, I was finishing Backgammon etc.
About GT, I've just tried to log in and it really shows that their database is down. Strange.

No! Our server cannot be attacked by a virus, it doesn't run under Windows :-) There was some general hardware problem with the connection abroad.

Tony: Monthly, for the beginning.
About site down yesterday - there was a non-planned malfunction of our server-housing provider and we did not know about that because it happened during night [of our time zone]. I apologize for that.

Subject: Re: Tournaments for non-members....
Mom: Yes, it is a drawback of non-paying members. And tournament games don't override normal games, this is just a special situation for this first tournament only. Shortly, everybody could join a tournament although lots of players didn't have enough empty slots. But there will be some restriction check on next tournaments. I have to think it over.

Subject: Re: Tourny
Rose: Yes, for this very first tournament. The next [regular] tournaments will probably follow some restrictions according to the game limit of any particular membership.

Subject: Re: Tourny
MadMonkey: Exactly. I think that it is better than remove such players from the tournament because of not enough empty slots.
And upgrading is a good idea :-)

Um, I've prepared Nackgammon and Anti Backgammon so far. Race is a good idea, I'll try to add it ASAP.

Thanks Reds :-) Good news is that the Backgammon implementation is done and the game will be added within several days. It took so much time because the model is far different from "normal" games [chess, reversi] but it is finished. At last!

Kevin: Favorite Discussion Boards should be sorted alphabeticaly. I'll check it.
About Player List - yes, you are right, I'll probably give it a higher priority at my TODO list ;-)

Just a temporary solution [more important tasks in the queue], try to switch to "Dark color scheme" on your Settings page. Is it better?

30. December 2002, 09:18:15
Fencer
Very soon [background and backgammon] :-)
Just curious - why don't you adjust your monitor brightness and contrast?

I don't know. As I remember, there was a problem with draw offers but it is already fixed.
Actually, no site is totally flawless. It is impossible. Nobody can test all features and combinations.

Do you mean the "global" brightness of the white background on all site pages?
I will add a new option to set a bg color by a user.

tonyh: No, there is not an automatic draw. But maybe I should add it. I'll add some notes about it to Tablut rules ASAP.
About BKR, it is re-calculated everytime when a game/match is finished. But sometimes it is not changed [see FAQ].

Subject: Re: Sharing a Computer on this site.
lwmc: Don't worry about that. It is legal to share a computer when playing on BrainKing.com. Everything you have to do is to click on "Logout" link before another player can log in. That's all :-)

AAaaaaaahhh! I've found it! It is influenced by your time zone :-)) But it is only a display problem, the value in database is correct. I'll fix it ASAP.

Subject: Re: Chess Rules (50 move rule)
Of course I know that. It is applicable e.g. for a situation with king, rook and bishop against king and rook. The other possibilities are:
1) King and two knights against king and pawn.
2) King, rook and pawn against king, bishop and pawn.
But there are more restrictions for the last two situations, especially about pawn positions.
