LongJohn: re New Recruits.

If you're looking for members for your fellowship, please feel free to post on the 'Fellowships' db - perhaps with a link.

Fencer: Does the 'new' brainking kick in automatically when the 'original' brainking is getting full?

I was thinking (always dangerous) that if members were to use the 'new' one and pawns were to use the 'old' one, would that help lighten the load, or more evenly distribute the traffic. A link to the 'new' bk could then be put on the 'members only' board.

I know, I know.... I admit it! I haven't a clue about computers and servers and stuff.

3 days ago my backgammon rating was 2156 - now it's 1648.

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind! It's only a game. It'll be fun trying to reach 2156 again!

May I suggest that if games are to be wiped out it's done soon.

Many people have dozens of games going and they aren't going to be happy to wade through them only to find they're wiped out at a later date.

I'm sure Fencer listens to criticism - as long as it's constructive. Whining never did anybody any good (ask my eldest daughter!) and just causes irritation and annoyance. It doesn't solve anything.

Firstly, I know you don't cheat, chatty!

Secondly, where is it written that we have to make the same moves as before anyway?

Rose: I can make 100 moves (backgammon mainly) in an hour quite easily. I'm guessing that it depends on the speed of your internet connection (do you have broadband?).

Oh, heck. This isn't going to deteriorate into a slanging match board is it? You pay your money and you take your choice - except you pay your money after you find the site that best suits you.

I'm with loggerhead - who's got the ice cream? Let's party. I can bring a gorgeous brunette, a delightful redhead and, er, a bluehead. Oh, and a blonde I suppose (okay cariad?).

I think Bush, Blair, Saddam and Bin Laden should get the 'Twister' mat out and the whole thing should be televised worldwide. To make it twice as humiliating, make it 'nude twister'.

Joke: (sorry cariad) How do you drown a blonde?
Glue a 'scratch and sniff' card to the bottom of the swimming pool.

I'm so glad you said that and not me!
I don't know if cariad (who just happens to be blonde) can reply to that today - she burnt her nose bobbing for french fries.
She has to take her scarf back to the store today as she thinks it's too tight.

To (mis)quote Leoncavallo in his opera 'I Pagliacci', 'On with the Muttley'.

cariad, I thought your favourite cartoon was Scooby Doo. I remember you sitting on my knee, watching tv and singing along to the theme music.

Oh, that was last week...
