Only if I want to keep my children quiet! :D

Edited because on re-reading it looked quite bad! No offence meant - honestly!

Note: Fencer charges a €2 modelling fee.

How much for a Dancing Fencers shirt?

Now the only problem I've got is that when cariad sees 'hide' she's going to grab her laptop and lock herself in a cupboard. :o)

I've been thinking about changing my computer's name too. Gosh, look! An ad. How lucky! Now to change the name to Eric.

I must check it out, harley!

Okay, so we've got the option to turn them on. Wouldn't it be better to have the option to turn them off?
I mean, having everyone's turned on to start with then they can go and turn them off if they want.

Wow, aren't hotels cheap in Prague? Check it out. NOW!

I can't remember what it was like to decline in my later years. :o)

9 years ago I was my age as well!

A photo of you taken 20 years ago, Bernice? You would have been a toddler then, surely? :o)

Rod0072345284: I had the same problem. It clears itself after a while.

Where do I click to get a free glass of champagne?

Great job, Fencer and Liquid!

BerniceC, In my experience I've found that paying members who, for circumstances beyond their control, cannot afford to renew have made so many good friends in their time here that people are very willing to help out.

I didn't get one chatty. I'm sure Fencer would have said something.
Don't open any links on the email.

Brian1971: There were a couple of webtv users testing BK2 before it went public as it were. They experienced no problems.

IMupChucKing: Yes, a couple of PC users did have a problem getting here after BK2 but that problem sorted itself out. Something to do with DNS and servers.

Some Webtv users are getting back in now with no problems. I assume it's the same for all of them.

Telepathically - now wouldn't that be good? lol I could imagine BK2 was up and running. :-)

I'm using a set box thingy at the moment. It takes a fortnight to load a page but at least it gets me here!

Subject: A plea for help!
I can't access brainking.com at all from my laptop. I don't even get to the log-in page - all I get is (IE) 'The page cannot be displayed (blah...blah...blah...)' notice.

I've dumped all temporary internet files and deleted all cookies but this hasn't made any difference. I can get to all other sites - it's just BK.
Maybe it's just coincidence but I haven't been able to access BK since it reverted back to BK1 (from BK2).

Help anyone? Please!

SOD (if I may be so bold as to call you SOD?), I think you timed out on one with me as well. Have it reinstated by all means. Or start a new one. :o)

At least it's still more honest than banks. :o)

It's okay, Antje, just divorce Anders. I'll divorce panda and disown my daughter (YES!!). :-)

All the people mentioned, however, are all members here so (I'm hoping) special dispensation will be given (just like the Pope gives.
*mental image of Fencer as the Pope...shudder*).

We play each other in our Fellowship tournies but try to avoid each other in the 'public' ones. Heck, our ratings aren't any great shakes!

24. May 2004, 11:47:00
bumble
It would depend on your opponent's rating.

21. May 2004, 15:25:13
bumble
That's it, harley. You must use the higher of the two if you can.

21. May 2004, 15:21:21
bumble
A player must use both numbers of a roll if this is legally possible (or all four numbers of a double). When only one number can be played, the player must play that number. Or if either number can be played but not both, the player must play the larger one. When neither number can be used, the player loses his turn. In the case of doubles, when all four numbers cannot be played, the player must play as many numbers as he can.

21. May 2004, 11:25:30
bumble
Thanks, Fencer...now about those 40 games that timed-out. Do you want to get the numbers from my message box?
And I assume my membership time will be extended accordingly?

Subject: Fencer
Is there any chance you could sort out my account today? I have 145 games to move in and I can't and, as you know, I haven't been able to for over a week. This has resulted in my timing-out in 36 games - which I want reinstated.

It's really of no interest to me that everything in my account in BK2 is fine. There's never anyone there when I'm there. Maybe I should invite a few people over?

14. April 2004, 10:38:31
bumble
I don't think any have been removed, mrloupcity.
A few 'big bosses' have invented their own new game for Brainking - 'Who can get their fellowship to the top of the 'Fellowships' and 'Favourite Boards' coloumns' (at the bottom of each of your pages).
They do this by adding punctuation marks before their fellowship name.
Personally, I wish they wouldn't bother.

AW, thanks for your comments, everyone!
Part two (of fifteen) will be published in 'Wombats Weekly' available from some good newsagents - and all bad ones.

Don't forget to get your questions for harley in to noholdsbarred as soon as possible. You owe it to her - she's had it too easy for too long. Put her on the spot - make her stew. You know she deserves it! (only joking, harleyfluff!)
Now to get my questions in. *thinks...how many 'e's in negligee?*
