Tuesday: If you have pond games you won't be able to finish them, since you won't be able to move. Other than that you get to keep everything (multiple tournaments and stairs, more than 20 games, etc).
Only when you try to start a game, pawn's restrictions are verified and you won't be able to start any more until you go under 20 games again, nor enter any more tournaments until you're eliminated in all your current ones.

Hrqls:understandable to a point, if one plays for ____ and giggles, I didn't even concider 'most moves' or 'action points' ...guess I was looking at things one sided, like winning and improving ones 'BKR rating'...
thanx for the feedback...

LionsLair: 4 or 5 games would be enough for me .. as long as it would provide me with some waiting moves when i logon

4 or 5 games doesnt do that for me though .. it depends on my opponents

thats why i need about 100 games .. thats what usually keeps me busy but still can be handled easy enough in my normal schedule

some people have more spare time though and might need more games .. i can imagine 600 games to be useful

then there are people who have another goal .. like being on the most moves list or action points .. they might need more games :)

it all depends on which games you play, which opponents, how much free time you have, and what your goal is :)

LionsLair:Enjoyment is extremely relative.  What I consider enjoyable may be totally dull to others and the reverse.  So, if someone has 2700+ games going, they must enjoy it for themselves.

...at what point does a player have too many 'started games' going that one loses the joy of the game playing experience? ...I know many are happy with as few as 4-5 games, and yet others prefer 100-150... but could someone explain the joy of 2700+ ...at this point it would seem to be a full time job, not fun and games...
...not to single anyone out, but the player's games I refer to has only hrs to make several hundred moves... seems they would have to be here around the clock for months on end...
...to each their own I suppose, but I find it hard to fathom the joys of such a task... maybe someon could enlighten me on this subject....
...as always, thanx and happy gaming! :o)

BIG BAD WOLF: I also like being told about it. I've read it and wouldn't mind just seeing a little reminder near the top of the page. If I want the whole message, I wouldn't click it.

Actually I love that it now tells you when it will be turned back on. I'm not sure why 3 extra lines for about 24 hours would be a problem.

Fencer: How about having a remove button for this message? Except that when it is clicked the information about when the clock will start running again is put to the right of our handles just to the left of the flags at the top of the page? Placed there it won't take any space that's used and it will be easy to keep track of. Just have the time for the clock re-starting without all the other text in that place after someone clicks the initial message.
