WellyWales: It's not a fixed score, it depends on your BKR at the time.
When your BKR is low, even a relatively bad place in a pond can gain you points.
When your BKR is high even a first place may not raise it much higher.
The only way to see who gained what is to store the pond just before and after the last bet and compare. In ponds this is easy since you know in advance when the pond will end. (well, more or less, since there can be multiple falls in a turn and server time freezes)
And by the way, the whole BKR system is of questionable value for ponds.

The reason I asked is I got 1 point for being 4th in this pond OVER THE RAINBOW Blonde
and 16 points for being 7th in this pond βaβyĢіґŁŁєs КIŦÇΉЄŊ (Run in the Dark)

I just wondered what other people score in the same ponds

I can't find them in Statistics, I went to the main page, under "Your best BKR" and copied what the links point to.

WellyWales: It shows everybody's BKR except in dark ponds, unless you are talking about others change in a finished pond

Is it possible to know what other people score (BKR) in ponds as in other games ?

alexlee: I have recently gone up from 104 to 105 as my starting bid in 16/16 ponds… will have to reconsider it again…

I'm going down to a pond per 2 weeks since, from experience, things slow down during summer and ponds have a hard time filling up.

alexlee: my guess would be that she made her bid right before she turned pawn and before you made your bid.
I'm in an eleven day pond right now with a pawn, I hate those because I feel that it would be smarter to wait just in case they decide to renew their membership

Ok, thanks and I will watch and see what happens. I knew she was a pawn with the last move being 1220, thats why I bid 1223 but no one else did so that was kind of weird

alexlee: No way for us "users" to know - Fencer I'm sure has a way to check, but probable easier to just watch the next round and see what happens.

I know it's been suggested to let pawns continue to play once they join as members, but as far as I know - no change has been made.

she was a pawn when her last bid was 1220. Next time she had a bid of 1500. I'll just continue to watch for now. I don't suppose there is any way to tell what day someone turned into a pawn?

alexlee: when they change to a pawn, they are not automatically out of the game, rather their last bid will carry on until they fall, or win.

If a member changes to a pawn can they now continue to play if they were already in a pond? If so when did this start and was it posted anywhere? Seems like if a rule changes it should have been posted but if it was I can not find where?

well, there are ponds that'll start in 96 days with >30 players... and most that will start within the next month have enough to start... and i didnt have a brain rook for a while so i'm not in the loop and trying to get more ponds started ;)

Pedro Martínez: me too. Mega-mass pond, 100 players has been waiting for 6 months for 20 more players to start :)

rabbitoid: Yup, agreed… I would just like saeco to show me where those filled-up ponds are…

Pedro Martínez: I had mine start twice weekly, but after a while people stopped signing up. A pond a week seems to be a good compromise.
