yes,ty for your time,I know all trees,I love em..lol,but the funny thing it isn't.the tree has an internal fungus that affected its growth.

I finally got everything cut up today and cleaned out. Tomorrow I'll get those poor broken stalks replanted well. Simply ran out of time.

ah ha :) they are not indigenous to australia but are also found in Africa.....well thats what my search revealed and i searched 28 pages on Google :)

ScarletRose: I dont know if they grow anywhere else in the world but they only seem to grow in the Kimberlies which is very arid area....I must do a search on where they do grow :)

BerniceC: Those have to be the trees found in the stories of Winnie the Pooh!! cause Owl and Rabbit live in trees and inside their houses they have lots of room!

that looks very much like a "BOAB" tree...and they are found in central australia and are know to grow to around 20metres around the base. = 60feet.

nobleheart: Snow not yet but were in for a bad winter.

nobleheart: We had a cold front thru last week that dumped snow on the south island to sea level in places and now our temps are just getting into low 20's C.

I can even get into the spirit of winter,snow & stuff but I HATE the cold.

ScarletRose: Were getting pretty close to it.I've had to turn the heat on it's been cold and this house is very damp.

Foxy Lady: we haven't had our first freeze yet.. but, it is getting close..

Foxy Lady: yes true Foxy Lady,fall mean work,but also harvest,and beautiful fall colours,jumping in a pile of leaves,stuffing leaves up ScarletRose's shirt,fall is also a little philisophical for me,the years end in sight,a time for reflection.

With fall just about here for most of us, cleaning up the garden can be a pain
