WatfordFC:Hydrangeas need to be cut back fairly ruthlessly after flowering to give a good display next year.Could this be your problem?

Foxy Lady: Last year when it flowered it was abolutely gorgeous, but this year i think bugs have been attacking it.

WatfordFC: Hmmmmmm when it doubt i look it up.I had to look up about my blueberry bush it needed acidic soil,now it's doing great i give it my left over coffee grounds and water it.

Foxy Lady: well it looks ok its still got colour to it, so i suppose thats a good sign lol. Just abit disgruntled as to why my hydrainga (sp) has started flowering yet

WatfordFC: How's your plant doing? I did get my Wavy Petunia replaced.There was know saving the other plant it was too root bound.I never thought of splitting it in half and making two plants.

I was just told narcissus smell nice too.

nobleheart: they are very subtle

nobleheart: lilacs and honeysuckle are my faves but also love the smell of daffodills

nobleheart: Frangipani, is one you missed. We're growing one but as yet it hasn't flowered, we believe it's to do with temperature.

Rose: I bought some but never got a chance to use it.My husband has a thing anything but natural,now it's pepper and red pepper to keep the rabbits away.

Anyone with bug problems should try a product called Neem. I mentioned it before. Works loads better then soap and garlic. All natural from the Asian Neem plant. It isnt harmful to birds or cats so you can spray all over and just get rid of pests with out hurting the wildlife. Mixed with warm water, you just spray all leaves a few times a week an your pest problems are gone for the season.. amazing stuff.

ScarletRose: Thats fine when were out of season but this is full garden,and flower time.In the Fall and Winter i let alot slide by but this is growing season.

ajtgirl: I agree with you you 100 percent.It's time for the humor and jokes to go to the Joke board.I did spray my grapevine and rose bush with garlic,soap and water mixed.I have know green worms on the roses and whatever was chewing the grapevine quit.My Petunia was so root bound it had notta room to grow.

maybe we need to"plant" a gardening fellowship,others "rose" here.it could be a "branch" office.we could "leaf" it up to fencer to "plot" one.

Was so root bound it had know place to grow.I did get it replaced.

Foxy Lady: Well before i re-potted it, i gave the pot a good watering and then watered it again once i had potted it.

WatfordFC: Give it a few days plants go in shock sometimes when transplanted.Be sure it has good drainage.

Foxy Lady: My Betulia it looks abit sick, all i did was re-pot it into the bigger ceramic pot on my patio and now it looks ill . lol
