hrlgnrlh, Im no computer wizzard, and unfortunately I can´t help you in this situation other than offer some moral support, : maybe considering the state of awakeness you play games in, that big text aint all that bad,?? :PP ::) and who konows?? next time you doze off, you might lean on the right keys to get it back?? :)

I leaned on my keyboard last night (falling asleep!!) and I've no idea what keys I caught, it was somewhere around the CTRL/shift/Z/ keys... but all the text has gone HUGE now and I can't seem to change it back!! Anyone know what I can do to get it back to normal?

Rose: Yes, for this very first tournament. The next [regular] tournaments will probably follow some restrictions according to the game limit of any particular membership.

YOU probably answered this question before.. If i am playing 48 games regular and tourney ( I am allowed 50 games in my membership) and I get to round 2 of say half the tournies I joined.. am I allowed to enter round 2 even if I havent enough space in my membership and it would take me to say 60 or more games?

MadMonkey: Exactly. I think that it is better than remove such players from the tournament because of not enough empty slots.
And upgrading is a good idea :-)

Just a quick question Fencer. Are any spare spaces in normal games taken over by the Tourny ones ??? I had just one normal place left last night, now the Tourny has started i have 26 games which is 6 over my limit of 20. Does this mean i won't be able to start any more normal games until i am down to 20 again ???
p.s. When i get my Bank sorted, i would like to upgrade :))

Thanks Reds :-) Good news is that the Backgammon implementation is done and the game will be added within several days. It took so much time because the model is far different from "normal" games [chess, reversi] but it is finished. At last!

I have only joined this site a short time ago, but I just wanted to say. this site ROCKS!!!...Out of all the sites I play at this one is by far the best....I have made some really good friends here already, everyone seems so nice.... :) Great job Fencer!!!!!!!!!...I look forward to the backgammon.... :)

I have to agree about the brightness but I am on a webtv and my screen is 32 inches so it's somewhat bigger to look at. But as Kevin said....or meant...that "anyone" can go to the settings page and change the background color. If it's that big of a problem then maybe he could make the main background color as gray and white as change instead of vice-versa. Maybe that would help to solve the problem.

I DID say I "personally" don't have the problem..

He did say (i think on this board) that if you go to your settings page, there is a darker colour scheme (with a grey background instead of white).

Fencer, I do not "personally" have a problem with the brightness.. some of the people I play (or HAVE played) apparently have some kind of eye problems where a bright screen tends to hurt in some way, like give headaches, burn, make them squint, go crosseyed, I don't know, but it IS bright and must be bright enough to keep people from coming on to play cuz I just got another win by defalt (and you know that's not right).. also some people may not be able to make screen ajustments, enough to compensate without character component distortion.. my latest loss online was "mogal", and I'm talking about a "friend" here, not the game.. Now just wondering, is there a lot involved to implement a choice of color or different shade backgrounds..? Sorry Fencer, I'm not trying to sound rude, just trying to explain the best I can.. Everyone knows you work very hard on this site.. :-))

At least on my 800x600 resolution the 32 links to the 32 pages of players make the page too wide, so i have to scroll sideways to see it all. They should start going on the next line :-)

I noticed that with the search box on the Player List it does not always come up with all the players that match what you type in. I'm not sure why though!

I asked a couple of friends to join brainking, i just caught up with them and they said they had. I asked them for there i.d's and tried to search for them in the search box on players list, but came up with nothing. So i went through the names & i found them - is this a problem you know about Fencer ???

Yep, those are the 2 :-) I have heard of others that other people play at, but don't remember what they are. You can try searching on any search engine for something like "turn based board games" if you want to find more.
