There usually is a pop-up blocker somewhere. Chrome: control button -> settings -> Show advanced settings -> Privacy -> Content settings -> (scroll down) pop-ups , check "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended)" Firefox: Preferences -> Content -> check "Block pop-up windows" In case of those 2 there's an excellent add-on called AdBlock, a real life-saver. 16. But then, they'd have to read my boring profile to see it in the first place! I used to have an extension that I could do a ctrl * and I could post different prewritten messages with one click.
