so some people could use 60 , 90, 120 days vacation if they extend membership everytime they use thier days up

Pedro Martínez: No, the number of vacation days never exceeds the max value. It will be reset on 1st January anyway.

Jason: Well, it wasn't officially announced yet but if you extend your membership by another year, the vacation counter would be reset to the original value (30 for Brain Rooks, etc.) instead of waiting for the 1st January.

reason i ask is that i was looking at someones profile and there now appears to be alot more vacation days than was there the last time i looked

On the menu you can go to the Waiting Games area and choose one of the open invitations there.

Get a big ranking in a game type. Then maybe people will invite you instead ;)

Exctintion chess isn't my favourite game but I'll accept any invitation I'm offered ;)

I have recently signed up and have been reading through the site. I cannot find rules info related to how things work. For example, I challenged someone to a game of extinction chessand they declined the game. So how do I get the best players to play me? Where can I find info related to those types of things? Can someone help me out with more info?

Marfitalu: Only paying members can edit or delete their own messages.
Moderators can do it to any message on the boards they moderate

Actually I did a mistake: this setup would last at most 30d, since it's 15d for each player.

rabbitoid: If you want a game to last no more than 15days whole, you can set it to 15d/0/15d

Fencer: thanks. I really misunderstood it, then.

rabbitoid: The increment is added only if you are below the limit and the final value cannot exceed the limit. For example, if you have 14 days and 18 hours left and make a move, it won't add a whole day but only 6 hours [to reach the limit of 15 days].

Fencer: I agree, but we have already played for 5 days, we have used up time, no? or does the counter reset itself each time an increment is added, until it reaches the max value?
