There's actually 2 other differences as well.
1. In go-moku, over lines (6 or more) do not count. In Five in Line here they do count.
2. In go-moku, it is a win for player 2 when the board fills up. Here it is a draw. (Although the board filling up is very rare anyways).

good opints, I forgto about those. 5inline should be replaced by Go-moku, because 5inline is really just a fake version of gomoku.
