and anyway extra work for lots of things ... : checking all players since BK started and inivite all of them .. check all pawns also and seeing wich ones are in tourneis and why ... etc .... lot of work anyway

FrancescoLR:  Why didn't you just create a tourney with 512 people instead of 8 with 64?  It seems you are giving yourself a lot of extra work...

Lotus Flower: Since you are just a new member.Check out player's profile & try & stay in games close to your BKR because if you don't you will lose alot of games. Good luck & have fun:))

Lotus Flower: Sorry there's no limit.The only other way is post some games you like to play or enter in more tournament's:)) Also make sure they are no day's off :))

Lotus Flower:no restriction .. problem has been that many (or actually few ) players have stopped many many tourneis by abusing of vacation days .. now Fencer changed it so thise "smart" players i hope truly will lose all their games instead of having people resigned !!

FrancescoLR: a few pawns have signed up for my upcomming one which is the same rules has Gerry's
and mine states quite clearly the rules
so i dont think that is the case
i think they see a chance of winning one tournament
and arnt that bothered about the prize

FrancescoLR: If they finished all there games in any tournament.ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS MESSAGE FENCER & he will remove them so they can play in another one:))

"GERRY":because you DO NOT invite them .. i have sent over 3000 invites .. and over 300 send me messages back and Fencer knows it ..about pawns stucked .. yours is open tourney .. i have to send invitations and so pple explain me whats going on even in other languages ...

Pedro Martínez, FrancescoLR: I understood what Gerry want say, but i'm not sure (and Francesco too) if all pawns understood the goal of the tournament. Besides, i had some questions about the goal of the tournament at the beginning and sent a message for Gerry to explain me. :)

Undertaker.:believe me .. if i was a pawn is logic that i would have signed for a tourney where there is a prize ... i am sure the pawns who signed didnt understand how it works .. and you can see that their english is not strong by the country where they from :)

you might be right but also wrong .. remember that many of those pawns DO NOT understand english clearly and that tourney confused me also ....

FrancescoLR: I think Gerry i's trying to say that those pawn's don't care about the prize and they would have signed up for the tourney even if there was no prize at all.

FrancescoLR: I think the point is know if paws understood which is the goal of that tournament. If they dream win prize so they are mistaken, but if they only want play a simple chess tournament or other type of game, so i don't see problem.

what chances have they to win the prizes ....
i know they have 0 % chance to win and they could have partecipate in other tourneis with at least a small chance to win .... same is with all tourneis of that one ...
i am telling you because i looked at all team tourneis that are still on from very longtime (open to public or inside fellwoships), i looked at all the team tourneis still on and to all the tourneis with prizes .. since i am inviting pawns i had feedback of over 200 that said are stucked and cannot sign ... in that case those pawns in that tourney for exemple i will ask Fencer to release them .. is logic because they CANNOT win there ...

FrancescoLR: It's not the prize.It's the tournament win i think they are trying to win.Plus the other fact is the player's in my tournament's play there games & do not hold player's up:)))

"GERRY":yes true but explain them what is the deal .. i am sure many panws do not understand the fact that whoever has most wins ( IN ALL GAMES ) will win the prize ...

Clandestine 1: I was thinking yes, the clock would continue to count down (even in the negative), but the time out job should have been turned off for 24 hours, meaning even if it was in the negative, you should have been able to make a move before the time-out process was turned back on.

.... At least that is how I would think it would work.

This is true for tournaments that allow for vacation, but trust me on this one, I just lost a game in the finals that I was going to clearly win due to my Fischer clock continuing to count down when the time-out process was turned off. By the time I was able to move, my clock was in the negatives.

Lotus Flower: No Days Off - Basically means no vacation days or weekend days will be used.

Clandestine 1: Not all the time - if the server goes down for more then 1 hour (I think it is 1 hour), then when it comes back up the site will turn off the time out process for 24 hours to make sure everyone can get back on to make their move.

However, with clocks such as these and the Fischer clocks, they continue to run when the server goes down. So, if you don't get a chance to move due to the site be down - you lose your game!

and then whoever your playing also has 7 days
then when you get the game back you will have another 7 days etc etc

FrancescoLR: Who ever want's to play in my tournament's can.& those who don't want to can stay out of them my friend:)))

"GERRY":do not let pawn join your  prize  tourney... you wasting their time and their chances to win something by playing other tourneis .. your tourney is made that who has most wins wins the prize but pawns can sign ONLY for 1 tourney so is unfair because they can't never ever win ..
so if you do tourney with prizes as brain do not let pawns join unless you change format .. at least 20 pawns are stucked in your brain tourney with 0 % chance to win something ...
