Flax Seed! I put it in everyting! Grind it up and put it on salads, sprinkle over any meat, put in scrambled eggs, cook in muffins, pancakes, etc! (Also excellent for babies over 8 months! I put it in her baby food!)

Extremely healthy and it tastes good! "Flaxseed is more than just nutritious -- health experts believe the seed can actually help prevent heart disease and many types of cancer."

Check it out!

Mindy: Baking it into your food is the best way to sneak it into your family's food if they are picky. Luckily my family likes it....they will eat it on anything now. If you do an internet search, you will find many receipes that use flax seed.

For all....make sure you grind up the flax seed first. That is the only way you get the nutrients.

Sujet: Sudan 1 dye
Paula in UK was just telling me about the illegal food dye Sudan 1 that has cancer causing agents and is in many foods in the UK (being banned). I checked out the Canadain gov site and there are 7 products that made it here that have the dye in them and are being banned as well. Check your local gov sites to makes sure some of the foods you are eating doesnt have that illegal dye in them.. It is found in chili powders, package noodles, worchestershire sauce and a few other foods..

I heard something similar to that fact.In the Pomegrantes the dye is the juice in the seeds when you eat them.Is that what you meant? I know i don't buy Hi-C juice anymore it's full of dye it turned a white juice cup red.
