My roses out back are on overload with blooming. I never got around to pruning them, and I guess they are rejoicing. lol

Eriisa: All this talk of flowers makes me jealous. We had snow saturday and I was just getting ready to lime the yard.. Our grass isnt green, the tulips arent up yet nor are the iris's.. I figure were looking at a late start to our season this year.. Wont be much fun since we planned on putting in cukes and pumpkins. U need 100+ days for good pumpkins or more..

Rose: Easy to get that many when you have a gully you can plant them in LOL. Haven't tried muffins will look around for a receipe.

skipinnz: We have clay soil and really have to work it good.Plus add alot of peatmoss and etc,Every other year we save seeds to use cause of the soil.I checked our compost it's frozen.

Rose: I tried growing pumpkins once,i was told to inject them with milk. I did and they grew than got all mushy.I'm with you we had snow yesterday and another storm coming in.We can't plant till the end of May.This year it maybe later.
