Sujet: Apple Pie Not ...
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 Tablespoon cream of tarter
2 Tablespoon butter
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
22 saltine cracker squares (crushed)
unbaked pie crust

In a saucepan, bring to boil, sugar, water, cream of tarter. butter and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.. Stir and boil 4 minutes.
put the crushed saltine crackers in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.
Pour the hot liquid on top of the crackers.
Sprinkle another 1/2 tsp cinnamon on top of the hot liguid in the crust..
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes..

satinjade: I will have to try this recipe, coconut cream is my favorite.. does it matter if the flour is self-rising or all-purpose?

Sujet: Eclair Delight...
2 sm.boxes French Vanilla Pudding
2 cups milk
1 8oz cool whip
1 Lb box Graham Crackers (whole)
2 boxes of Chocolate Fudge Jiffy
Frosting.. (Make Frosting according to Pkg direction)
Combine Pudding and milk till smooth & set...
Fold in cool whip...
Cover bottom of 9X13 pan with Whole Graham Crackers.may have to break pieces off to get to fit but cover entire bottom.......
Spread 1/2 of Pudding mixture over Crackers..
Put another layer of Graham Crackers on top of Pudding mixture...
Spead the remaining Pudding on top of Graham Crackers.
Put another layer of Graham Crackers as your top layer..
Smooth Jiffy Frosting over last layer of Graham Crackers.being careful not to distrub graham Crackers..
Cover and Refrigerate at least 12 hours
befoe serving....

....Swedish Nut Cake....
2 cups sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 20oz.can crushed pineapples w/juice
1 cup chopped pecans.(opt)
Mix all together, do not use mixer
Pour into a greased 9X13 pan
Bake in preheated oven 350 for 25 to 30
minutes. let cool..
...Icing...
2 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8oz) cream cheese 3/4 stick butter
(room temp)
Beat with mixer till fluffy. spread on cool cake, sprinkle with crushed pecans. keep refrigerated.
