Sujet: Re:
Oceans Apart: I personally wouldn't support autopass for ludo simply because it could take up a majority of the game.  In backgammon, you only run into it in certain situations but in ludo it could occur for half of the game.

gambler104: Yes i know, but surely that leaves time to play other games, whilst autopass is in action, until he/she is allowed to make a move

speaking as one who has used autopass for ludo before i agree with you

gambler104:  I would think that was an argument in favor of autopass, not against it.  Sounds like it's sorely needed in Ludo.

Oceans Apart: I would prefer autopass in Ludo, but a thought struck me (and it hurt too! ) but if we didn't have to take 20 turns to move out, it wouls ruin the Czech name of the game.

Eriisa:  How does the Czech name translate into English?  The online translator I used could not translate any of the words.

Sujet: Re:
Eriisa: surely autopass is a great option to have and of course both players would have to agree to it to make it part of the game they were playing. It would just give those the choice if they wanted it. Players can then opt not to use it if they so choose also.

Sujet: Re:
Oceans Apart: I would play Ludo again if 1) there was autopass for Ludo, and 2) my opponent wouldn't have to agree on autopass.

Since 2) is likely not going to happen, I don't really care whether Ludo gets autopass or not.
