Mr. Shumway: Yes I CAN mention time limits as often as I wish. It's people like you who discuss it further lol.
If I play a game that is for 1 hour, I expect it to be I hour. Not 2 hours.

crosseyed: You may say something about the time limits as often as you like - that doesn't mean that they will be discussed. There doesn't seem to be a point in discussing time limits to me - what aspect would you want to discuss?

And how can you abuse time limits? You simply can't.

and the question over time-limits you bring up again was well answered on the tournament board not so long ago

I have always thought that everyone should stay with one fellowship (for all games). That way a greater sense of team fidelity could be nurtured. It would inspire greater competition between fellowships and that would probably be more fun.

BIG BAD WOLF: Something has to be done. This player only joined my team recently and i put them in a match against another fellowhsip that started yesterday morning. Then in the evening they leave the team, sign up for another fellowship team and then challenge us to a match as well
Something not quite right about that, if we all did that, it would make fellowship matches pointless.

pauloaguia: You have at least 8 games which did not make it past move #1 - games that don't make it to the 4th move are not counted towards the ratings (but are counted in your win/loss record) - so that is why you see a difference.

Sujet: Re:
MadMonkey: Not a bug, but I think is a good feature. Sometimes a team just needs 1 or 2 more people, and for players who like to play - being able to sign up for that team to play, then possible go back to their original team is a nice feature.

I think there was once a bug where the same player was playing in the same team challenge/match (against themselves) - I'm not sure if that was ever fixed or what came of it.

But as long as that does not happen - it's nice to be able to move teams. (But I would support maybe some kind of limit - like you can't join anouther team for 30 days since you joined another or something)

Sujet: Ratings
Could someone please explain to me the meaning of my row on the Dark Chess ratings page? It states "14 (7/0/15)", under "Counted Games".
I've just checked and every single one of my Dark Chess games was ranked (Counts towards BKR). So why is it that it says I have only 14 games when I won 7 and lost 15?

Fencer: We can only sign up for one Team of a particular game as the system will not let us play for more than one.
So how can someone playing for a team in one fellowship, leave that team while still playing for it in a match, and join another fellowships team of the same game ??? Is it a bug ???
If not the same person could carry on playing for every fellowship they are a member of.

How long will the time outs be shut off?

just wondering, because I wasn't going to be online until late tonight, and my plan was to get lots of moves made thursday night so that I would stay caught up... Obviously I couldn't do that with the site down.. So I'm just curious if I have to cancel my plans tonight.. (LOL, people will laugh at me if I say I can't go because of my games!) And, I'm going to be gone for the next 14 hours because of work.. so can't do it now..

Just curious!
