The Col: Really... how? And isn't that a bit hypocritical... small government, yet you are now wanting to use government to ban abortions!! Even at a state level that's hypocritical.

"McCain had a backbone and wouldn't be as likely to cave to their wishes in regards to "personhood" and the outlawing of abortion nationwide."

And what if a visitor arrives from another country, gets raped by a US citizen, ends up in hospital for months and wants to abort, let alone their own women.
