2. August 2003, 23:17:34 Subiectul: rating question  In a recent game, I lost 68 rating points with a tie in reversi. I under stand that I should lose points since I was ranked higher then the other player, and since I did not win - I lose points.
My questions is would I have lost more points if I actually lost, or would I have lost the same amount of points either way? Plus I think it might have been posted before, but isn't there a website I can checkout that explains in detail how the ratings here are caculated? Thanks! BBW (BIG BAD WOLF) 2. Another thing..you may begin a game with a 1700 player and by the time you finish he/she has lost 10 more games to other people and you end up with a 1200 player. Lose that one and it really smarts. |
