HI Fencer - thanks for the Backgammon etc... :)
I don't know which problems you have left to sort out with it. I have a couple if you don't have them on your list (sorry).
Is there anyway to flip the board so the bearing off is always the same side (right).
I have one game running and my inner table is above me, but under who i am playing, so looks like we are playing each others pieces lol
Anti nackgammon set up was wrong last night, but my game i was playing seems to have changed today to nackgammon today.
Sorry for more problems Fencer - we all understand & know you are doing a great job.
Thanks alot :-)))

Thanks to everyone :-)
About flipping the board, it is not supported yet. I'll add this feature later. But if you play backgammon in real, the players sit at the opposite side of the table, don't they? So one of them can see the bearing off on the left and the opponent on the right. Or am I not right?

I get you Fencer :-)
You are right about that, just on the other sites they just show one direction which ever player you are, will just take a bit of getting used to.
Still you got it going, thats the main thing - Cheers again :-)

i accepted a 5 game match to nackgammon thinking it was a 1 game match, no moves have been made, and i would like to delete all the games, how do you get rid of a 5 game match, is there a penalty to delete if no moves have been made? i prefer 1 game matches.
Thx. ellie

What you say about bearing off is true. However normally you both bear off from your side of the board. At the moment we are bearing off from the opponent's side of the board. This is like starting a game and then swapping seats with your opponent.

Ellie, if you go onto the game it should have a 'delete game' button at the bottom. There is no penalty if it is deleted at the start of the game. Its not counted towards ratings or anything :o)

It might, but if not just delete each one, its just wiped out, not counted as a loss or draw or anything.

Now you have to remember that I am a very busy Mother of 3 and I am very active in my childrens lives at the moment. I have just NOW noticed where you can set your days off for the week on the game boards has changed drastically! Here's another plus towards membership! LOL We are starting a new season of gymnastics with my daughter and we travel quite a lot from month to month. So, this is awesome for the competitions that keep us out of town for a couple of days! As for the vacation days.....membership level would be awesome! But for now I'm saving the 5 days for her National competition in South Dakota this summer. She has been playing on here as well and it would benefit her too. She has met some really nice people here. I would have to say this is a thumbs up for the kids (with supervision). Fencer......what an awesome job you are doing here! Congrats! :)

Would it be too much trouble to put the "Show On-line Opponents" at the top of the page instead of having to click on the "Who is on-line" and then clicking on the "Show On-line Opponents"? This would make things alot quicker for us that have a webtv and may be easier for the computer users as well. I usually don't care much about who is on-line unless I am looking for someone on-line to play a game with at that moment.

Just wondering how the BKR's are totaled for the match games? I've won some games but they are not showing up on my BKR's and I'm still trying to find somewhere that explains how it all works. Thanks for any help and I'm sorry if it's on here and I just haven't found it yet. :)

Several bugs~One is we're moving opposite to every other site, would like to be able to reverse board.
In game no.#17274 I just had double fives, moved from space 24 to space 18~six spaces instead of five,,also it wouldn´t let me move from space 6 to space 1,and take his white pip in one...There appears to be a bug as I noticed this in my other game also, unable to make legal moves all the time.

I think this site has come through it's first major test. With the large number of extra games that the tourney's have generated, I have not noticed a sign of the site slowing down! I hope as the number of people playing at this site increases, Which it certainly will, the site reamains as fast.

Well done again Fencer!

Subject: Backgammon Board Orientation
Now that the obvious Back/Nackgammon bugs have been sorted out, can we do something about this. As far as I can make out the boards for backgammon and all the variations are upside down for both players. ie The 2 backmen (4 for Nack) start on your own side of the table instead of your opponents side as they should. The boards shown to each player just need to be swapped over so that White would see what Black sees now and vice versa. This would make life a lot easier. Thanks.

I have to agreee i am very confused playing gammon here.. one turn i veer off to the top left another bottom right.. i think.. anywho if we could have a setting so that we always veer off to the bottom right i think it would be easier to play.. other players have said the same thing to me.. I have no idea if this would be hard to program in to the game or not.. if so then Im sorry for asking for it :-)

Subject: Re: Backgammon Board Orientation
If you play on a real board, one player bears off to his bottom right and the other to his bottom left since one player goes clockwise and the other anti-clockwise. This is fairly easy to get used to. The problem here is bearing off from the top of the board which you never do normally.
