I agree. I love battle boats plus on IYT. and I love salvo on GT. But both are slower than BRAIN KING, and the worst of the two is IYT, Because there are errors and it is hard to get in sometimes. But I am getting where brainking is my favorite. The only thing brainking doesn't have that GT does is place to put jokes or recipes.

So since there are clubs on brainking I thought if I am able to become a member thats probly what I would go for.

I too would like to see battleboats here and variations there of.How about "Ship for Brains" I love the Salvo at GT with 6 players that would be nice here. GT is slooooooow and IYT has to many errors pop up if you can get there. But, and there is always a but. Both are bigger sites with A lot more people playing.Let's just hope as this one grows the things we like about it grow as well...

Excellent. Well played Fencer. Yes, as mentioned, it would not be a good idea to let 3rd parties see any position. On IYT, only the pieces that have been taken are displayed.

About Backgammon - yes, it is exactly as Tony writes.
About Dark Chess - I've just added it :-)

I thought about asking for this - but I quite like seeing when I can't make a move. Otherwise, you suddenly see a board that is totally different from when you last left it! It doesn't make an awful lot of difference to that guy that can move, except speed the game up.

Is it possable to fix backgammon so that when you can't make a move, it would automatticly go back to the opponents turn.
That way if they can't move, you won't have to wait for them to click the button.

On IYT every square on the board is invisible to users not playing until the game is over, when everyone can see everything. The location of pieces definately should be hidden from non-playing users!

:Fencer & Charles
I have never tried Dark chess myself (i play other versions). I was thinking it may help people that are trying to learn the game if they can see the pieces so they could understand it better.
The people playing always have the option of making the game private if they are that worried about others passing information on, just like in any other game of chess etc....

Just don't make the games visable to 3rd parties until the game is completed.

Yes! And very soon. But I would like to solve this problem - if a user who doesn't play some dark chess game looks at it, what he can see? I would say nothing because if he sees white's or black's pieces, he could say it to the corresponding player and the player would know where the opponent's pieces are located. Or am I not right?

There should be some way of recalling that info down the road. I will keep track of my own tourney winners so that I can periodically have a tournament of champions with all of my tourney's winners pitted against each other.

is there a way...that a page can be created that shows who won what tourney etc?..like something that automatically puts the winners name of a tourney and the game that they won?..we are gonna havemany different tourneys and when people win them they can say hey i won so and so tourney...but it would be cool if a page was created so that their name etc goes on and stays there...sayin what tourney it was and the game it was...does this make sense?..not that i would win one but it would be good for whoever wins whatever tourney it is...whats everyone think?

I just looked, but if the 20 game limit is the reason then Pawns can't anyway. Also being Pawns we have to wait for the first BK tournament to finish, as we can't enter more than one :(

Subject: Re: Messaging to multiple recipients.
Yes it does. I believe you need to have at least 5 open game slots in order to play in a tourney if you have a limited account. Perhaps Fencer could confirm this for us.
I will be holding many more tournaments MadMonkey, so you'll get your chance. There are other tournaments open for signup at this very moment that other people are holding too.

Sorry i missed the start Stingeroni, would of loved to play - maybe next time.
Would the games count as part of our 20 for us Pawns ???

Perhaps that could go on your long list of things to do. I just started my first tourney, and sent a starting message to all the participants. It would have been nice to be able to send it once, and have it go to each of them. Fortunately, there were only 12 in the tourney...not too hard for copy and paste, but I anticipate having many more in the tourneys as days go by.

Hi again, Fencer! I suspect that many of my countrymen don't know what the Cross of St David looks like (gold cross on a black background). The official flag of Wales is a red dragon (y ddraig goch), facing left, on a background of which the top half is white and the bottom half green. Once seen, never forgotten! Thanks, Fencer. Thanks again to MadMonkey (I hope I've got your name right this time!)

Subject: Away Message etc..
Myself, like alot of others stay logged in to BK for hours on end, including those at work :-), but are not always at the PC (just can't leave it alone lol). Would it be possible to add as Away, Busy or BRB message somewhere Fencer beside our names, so others would know. Just saves logging in & out, just a thought. Cheers & Keep the good work going.
