Discussing favorite movies is a great topic but keep in mind some folks haven't seen the movie yet we may be discussing so don't give the endings away!

the was Golem.. he was a hobbit long ago.. but he had the ring for hundreds of years an it turned him in to that tiny shrivelly man thing.(because of the rings destructive power). he was telling Frodo and Samwise he would take them to Mordor, the fire pit to help them get rid of the ring so it would no longer cause power lust and greed to man. ( in a nutshell)

You know I just started Monsters Inc for my kid about 2 minutes ago (before I came here and read the new post!)

My son's favorite part is when Scully is fighting the bad guy (when the bad guy is invisable). My son copies Sully, falls on the floor, runs around the room - so that is my favorite part also... because I like to watch him! :-)

Me and my girlfriend love this movie and pray for Monsters, Inc. 2

BTW, what's your favorite part of the movie? I'm laughing even now thinking of that pink "guy" describing on TV how Boo used her laser eyes and turned over a car after being spotted in the Chinese restaurant.

I love Monters Inc. - and it is my son's (age 2 1/2) favorite movie. He can act out almost the whole movie - will scream when someone on the movie screams, etc...

My favorite movie is Monsters, Inc. with Mike Wazowski, James Sullivan and Randall Boggs. ;-)

I think my favourite films are Cape Fear and Goodfellas. I usually watch them when they're on! And Primal Fear is a good one too, although I'm not keen on Richard Gere usually. But Edward Norton was fantastic in that.
I also love Labyrinth and Drop Dead Fred!! LOL!

I really enjoyed phone booth but before I rented it I knew the entire movie was only going to be in one location (the phone booth). It was shot I think with in a few week period. Definitely not an action movie but a movie that kept you captivated waiting to see how it would end with Colin Farrels Character.

Subject: Re: IMAX
I took my kids to see an IMAX movie that was also done in 3D. Iv'e seen 3D movies before, but the technology has increased. That and with the IMAX affect, it was stunning. My wife and I had a good time watching our kids react to the movie. They would "duck" to avoid "flying objects" and they were constantly trying to "grab" other objects. If you get a chance to see a 3D IMAX...TAKE IT!

My partner & myself went to see a space documentary at the IMAX cinema in Birmingham & I thought it was overwhelming!!! The size of the screen, the sound & generally the whole atmosphere!! They do 3D movies aswell which we want to go to next! :o)

if you ever get the chance to see anything on IMAX harl you should! its amazing.. they dont just show movies, but concerts, documentaries. its really awesome to see. If you can handle it that is. I tend to get queezy watching some of them, cuz the screen is so huge and things whiz past the screen so fast! Imagine a screen larger then a small apartment building right in front of you.. Its pretty kool stuff!

Ahhh, cheers, Rose! Wow, looks good! The last time I went to the pics it was to take the kids to see Antz and Bugs Life! ROFL! I'm not a huge movie buff!
