Tuesday: Yes I have seen things too with out being close to death. But I am still not convinced. I went to a service once where the Minister said he had heard his name being called in the night and he was convinced it was God calling to him. I hear my name being called all the time but I dont believe it is God I believe is a trick of the
nerves remembering long ago sounds. So what is to prevent different nerves remembering images instead of sounds I have no clue.

Tuesday: I have worked on the St John,s Fragment the oldest papyrus that is supposed to exist in the world today and I still dont believe in the God that exists in the Bible. I believe like Rod it is a personal thing and can mean different things to different people.

(V): When you think about it it is hard to take anything the Bible says literally it is all one great big jigsaw puzzle. Apart from some of the actural places that still exist today. I find it very hard to believe that anything especially the OT was inspired by God when it was wrote for Jews by Jews and the laws were wrote to make sure that the Rabbi got the best of every thing including all the best food. Reminds me of our politicians today, one law for them and one for the rest of us.

Tuesday: There,s loads of stuff out there on the net. Its easy to find. I was a firm beliver. I even watched it on TV as a kid. It is only last few years that the more I read and think about it that I have doubts. Dont supposed we will ever know. At least not in our life time anyway. I love reading about the shuttle missions. Even been to the USA to see a launch. Absolutely fantastic!

I have more of a problem with(diverting off the subject here)that a lot of people(miserable buggers)cant even be bothered to post one message a year such as Merry Christmas in Fellowships.
How much effort does that take? What is wrong with people?

Czuch: I have to disagree with you there. He looked liked an innocent bystander who just happend to be in the wrong place at the same time. He had his back to the police and there was certainly no need for him to be pushed to the ground like that. I fear the police are getting away with far too much in this country.
As V said, guns are very rare here. There are one or two shootings and one or two armed robberies but our police dont carry guns, only special forces and they have to be called out. But in general it is not needed too and thank goodness as the police would be shooting everyone will nilly.

Bernice: Well! You can bet your life that the parents of the 12 and 15 year old will pay.
Plus why advertise it? They are gonna get money for tv and newspaper reports.
It is the parents responsibilty to ensure this does not happen in the first place.
I know parents cant be watching 24 hours a day but heck. Whetre is the common sense? They must have been allowed to do it somewhere!

Artful Dodger: Yes it is the same here. Our goverment still decided to allow some parts of Sharia law to be practised though. It must be fear of having a Muslim uprising if they didnt.
I hope Sharia law never extends into our courts from Muslim parliament.

Artful Dodger: Lol yes very interesting! It is hard to believe too that some Muslim women allow themselves to be treated like that and actually believe it is right but I am sure it is true. The only way to stop it would be if enough women started saying no but they would have to be quick before they got beheaded or whatever.

It did look like a controled toppling though rather than a crash.
