If the current bets are low in a Pond game - for example 70% are betting between 15 and say 40, what sense does it make to bet say 590? to get the 500 points. I'm just wondering what the strategy is behind this?

If you want to save on bandwidth you can reduce the amount of information that shows up in your pages in the Settings. Try changing the number of games in the main page and the number of messages per page. (pauloaguia)
