My husband, Jon just got home from the Dr.
He took tests a week ago for Cancer. He has Cancer of the prostate. It is at the early stages so hopefully they can get it before it spreads to far.
He needs a couple more tests after Christmas to see how far it spread and what kind of treatment they can do. Jon had Malanoma about 4 years ago. They got it all and has been Cancer free up until now.
Jon has been caring for me during my surgery and now guess it is time for me to care for him.
All our family will be home during the holidays. God Bless
BARB

Pbarb2:  Blessings on you both.

I have heard of at least one case in which a patient with early prostate cancer believed he was helped by reciting the mantra "Om arkaya namaha" (in addition to standard medical treatment).  The mantra is said to help in removing afflictions of any kind.  It is customary to recite a mantra 108 times at a sitting.

Pbarb2: Please try and stay positive. My father was diagnosed with  very early stages of prostate cancer in 2001, he didnt even need treatment. Very early stages of this type of cancer, are like tiny grains of sand that are easily removed, without any further treatment required, that is what they did for my dad.

Your and your husband are in my thoughts.
