Subject: A Prayer for the Middle East
Heavenly Father:

We ask that not one more generation will grow up knowing conflict and injustice, nor suffer from poverty or oppression, that not one more family will lose a loved one to war and bitterness, and that, together, Muslim, Jew and Christian, we can create a new future for the Holy Land: a future of peace.

Amen

The text of the prayer taken from a prayer by Jordan's King Adbullah.

Jesus said that there will always be those who are poor.
But I agree, the people of the book should be at peace with one another.

Nirvana, my condolences
