I have the DVD of the concert he played at Montreaux where they booed him off stage...can ya believe it, but that's where he met Bowie and Jackson Browne, the rest is history... Having grown up here, I'm one of the lucky ones who cruised the streets of Austin bar hopping when he was still playing in the bars there...some real early days  going to look on utube 13.
