niki , a high rated player would lose points in a draw against a lower rated player

oh.. is that the case ?? damn, I offered loads of draws out to save resigning games.. thought it the fairest way out when I had no idea of the original result ! ;)
Where does it say about this please ? I couldn't find it anywhere.
