: Some recommendations from one who has been there and back:
1. Try to be more aware of your good fortune than you are of your bad.
2. Accept that good and bad dice are the yin and yang of backgammon, and so it is impossible to have one without the other.
3. Appreciate the game's unpredictability: isn't that why we play backgammon rather than chess?
4. Admire your opponent's success as if it were your own. It is.
